I AM Winner (Self-made one)

Everyone is keen to win.

Zig Ziglar says, "You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win."

But as a research scholar observes, “many people get stuck in the planning phase because they fear failure. Studies and psychologists show that up to 80% of people experience risk-aversion and anxiety……..often because they worry about looking bad, wasting time, or losing".

With such high levels of anxiety, many look for guides, trainers, coaches, and often godfathers. We don’t claim to be any of these.

Most top leaders commonly prefer learning and winning at the individual level, which enhances their personal understanding and results in life.

Winning is a mind game. We have laid out in the illustration above the faculties and factors that are the determinants of winning.

Ponder over each of these frequently and keep a score sheet about where you stand, present relevance/awareness, and full scope as given in the theories of each, and strive hard to fill the gaps. This can become your own success guide.

This is also called TACIT Learning, in vogue now, and purportedly magical? To be precise, let us go to the Cambridge dictionary, which defines ‘Tacit Knowledge’ as “knowledge that you do not get from being taught, or from books, etc., but that which you get from personal experiences”. A few practitioners elaborate and add that intuition and insights gained through experiences are the real source of the power of tacit knowledge.

In promoting the importance of 'tacit learning' you have rundown the important role of 'guides, trainers and coaches'. But, these are also needed to share their experiences which can illumine the dark road ahead often shrouded by complexities.

  3. Some of the factors listed in the illustrations are rather too advanced or rarely in common use ; it is better if, like in the dictionaries, some sentences using the words are given.
