Shyam Patil holds B.E. (Mech) and M.A.(Econ) degrees from the University of Pune. He is a former Member of the Board of Directors of Cummins. He is a Visiting Professor (MBA) at the S P Pune University. He has a rich experience in exports and is a globe-trotter having visited several cities in five continents over twenty years.
